Punch and Judy

With a long and colorful history since the 1600s, Punch and Judy has been a popular form of humor and entertainment around the world. Punch is a trickster and lord of misrule and the puppet shows gave rise to the terms "punch line" and "slapstick" that are still used in comedy today. The story may change but the Punch line delivered by Mr. Punch has remained the same for over 300 years: "That's the way to do it!"
