BIG DIG: Tysons Transit -100 points, Trees- Zero
The magnitude of construction at Tysons Corner is startling. There are deep holes for the new Metro Stations. Traffic is diverted with cones, jersey barriers and flashers everywhere. New and old signs proliferate to add to the confusion. All the trees are down and only a flock of huge cranes rises above the skyline now. Earthmovers, dump trucks, bulldozers and piles of pipes litter the new landscape.
